Cosmos – One of the best dining experiences in Sofia
If you’re looking for one of the best fine dining experiences in Sofia, Cosmos is a place I always come back to, particularly for a special occasion.
The menu is inspired by Bulgarian ingredients and flavours, presented in a modern way that still feels familiar. Dishes are beautifully put together, full of flavour, and clearly designed with care. Whether you choose from the à la carte menu or go for a tasting menu, the overall experience feels well-paced and the serving sizes are just right.
Cosmos has a stylish but relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. It’s elegant without being intimidating, which is part of what makes it such a good choice for celebrations, you can dress up, take your time, and really enjoy the experience.
The service is another highlight. The team are very knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to guide you through the menu or suggest wine pairings in a way that feels natural and unpretentious.
For birthdays, anniversaries or any occasion that deserves something a little special, Cosmos is one of my favourite restaurants in Sofia. Reservations are recommended.
