Shooting Range Gerena – One of Sofia’s More Unique Experiences

We’ve taken visiting family members here several times over the years, and it’s always been a huge hit. For many of our guests from the UK, it’s something they’ve never had the opportunity to try before, so everyone has left talking about it!
Safe, Professional & Beginner Friendly
One of the things we like most about Gerena is how professionally everything is run. Before anyone picks up a firearm, you’ll be given a thorough safety briefing by an experienced instructor, who explains the different firearms available, demonstrates how each one works and stays with you throughout the session. Protective ear defenders and safety glasses are provided, and the emphasis is always on safe, controlled target shooting in a supervised environment.
Choosing Your Experience
One of the most enjoyable parts of the visit is selecting which firearms you’d like to try. The instructors are happy to explain the differences between the available options and recommend combinations based on whether it’s your first visit or you’re looking to try something different. There are a variety of packages available, and sessions should be booked in advance.
A Great Activity with Friends or Family
Although it might not be the first activity people associate with Sofia, we’ve found it’s a brilliant experience to share with visiting friends and family. It’s fun, well organised and something a little out of the ordinary that people remember! We’ve returned more than once ourselves, and it’s still one of the first places we recommend when visitors ask us for something slightly different to do in the city.
