Turquoise restaurant is a nice place to go for some traditional Turkish food in Sofia. I particularly like going during the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the lovely garden. There’s often large groups celebrating here so it would be a good idea to book a table. It’s the perfect place to have a party as they have big tables and plenty of space. There’s also a nice play area for children. The home made bread is delicious and the kebabs are great too. Another plus is that they serve free Turkish tea, something I love! If you have a sweet tooth and you’re not too full after dinner, try the rice pudding, it’s homemade and really tasty.
My only grumble here is that it’s a little bit over priced for Sofia. Not to say that it’s expensive but in comparison to many other places it is. We spent around 25 leva each for a main course and drinks.
