Once again I will tell you about a place which you’ll hardly find if you are not local. But you should!!!
After the longest shopping day a week ago (combining Ilianci market and Pirotska Street) I took the girls for a soup and beer at Divaka (don’t laugh- It’s a Bulgarian thing) and they absolutely loved it. And so will you if you visit.
Divaka is a place where you can go pretty much anytime – they work till 2am and start at 10 in the morning.
You can enjoy their amazing chicken soup, served in a bread bowl, for lunch, dinner or before a crazy night in a club.
But don’t just stop with the soup! Make sure you order their French fries too! They smell like McDonald’s but taste way better! And as funny as it may sound- you can order half a kilo or a kilo of fries topped with some tasty Bulgarian cheese!
Divaka is quite a large place and you can choose whether you want to sit inside, in the summer garden or in the winter one. Either way you’ll be far from the city noise, where you can enjoy a conversation with your friends or just plug in your laptop and have a quiet time alone. Yes, they do have free WiFi.

What they can improve:
Sitting in the garden is wonderful, but if you sit inside and it’s crowded, you might leave with a migraine… Acoustics is really not very well thought of.
