If you have been to Sunny Beach in the summer, you know how crowded it can get and how hard it can be to choose from all those bars and restaurants, so you usually end up going to the ones that looks the nicest. We went to Bubbles in Colors because from outside it looked a little bit like a hut somewhere in Dominican Republic with palm tree leaves on the roof and wooden paths leading to the beach. They had a live band playing some nice music and since we were hungry and wanted to get a cocktail, Bubbles in Colors seemed like a good place to do both.

What we love about it:

  • The decor. You’ll see some of it in the pictures, and really the place looks even nicer in real life.
  • The staff were really friendly and we got our orders really fast.
  • The live music was pleasant as well.

What they can improve:

  • Food. A tomato soup tasted more like hot ketchup (by the way, it had the same taste in all Sunny Beach Restaurants that we tried), the pasta that we ordered was cold and had no taste at all (even adding the ketchup soup to it didn’t help) and even the pizza wasn’t great. The mussels were ok though.
  • Cocktails. I usually drink Margaritas, but my cocktail didn’t taste anything like a Margarita. The Bloody Mary still tasted like ketchup with vodka, so I guess it should be served as an appetizer for the tomato soup.

Bubbles in Colors seemed like a really nice place to spend time. Maybe we were just a bit unlucky with our choices and the rest of their food and drinks taste great! Maybe you have been there this summer and have a different experience to share with us? We’ll be happy to hear about it!
